Vi Hart is an ubergeek goddess. She describes herself as a “recreational mathemusician”. If you’re not sure what that means, she’s a mathematician who thinks the standard way of teaching maths (esp. in high school) is horrible and drains all the life out of it. To remedy this, she has been making great videos of math doodles in which she uses art, visualisation, music, DIY projects and non-standard explanations to make many of the standard maths concepts come alive.

Vi Hart explains Mobius strips through a very clever story animated on a Mobius strip that explains the kinds of misunderstandings that can arise.
