I think it would be a bias in presuming an alternate unknown arrangement to be worse. Of course it's not necessary to kill anyone as per my voicebox quote -- simply arranging for something major to change in Hitler's life would have been enough. The decision of whether or not to kill an innocent child must be made with a very accurate understanding of both outcomes. Not to mention the fact that maybe you could reason with the child in a way that you certainly couldn't reason with the adult Adolf.
