A Quick Blog Update

I’ve decided to join the 12th century and create a Twitter account. I’ll use it to post links and any other short items, leaving the main blog for longer posts.

I’m @aNadder. To see links and other related stuff, you can either:

Also in case you didn’t know, you can also sign up to get new posts by email by clicking here.

Well, even the pope joined twitter, so why wouldn’t you, right?

To be frank, I have no idea why twitter is useful or what it is good for. Honestly! Also, I avoid all social networks (except that google tries to get me into something called google+ circles, but I resits).

I don’t like the new look of your comments field. Let’s see if links work.

Oh, by the way, the 12th c. won’t come. The end of the world is nigh: 21/12/12

What on earth? How did this thing recognize my wordpress icon? The big brother is here.

I upgraded the comments widget which improved functionality but stuffed up the design so I’m still working on fixing it.

At the moment Twitter’s just a way to post links whenever they pop in my head without polluting the main RSS feed, otherwise it took a lot of time to store them and collate them into posts and by the time those posts went up the links were out of date anyway…

If you look at the top it says you’re posting as your logged-in WP account. As I said I still have to add the option of posting in as regular Joe Shmoe since it seems to be defaulting to WP logged in users.

Looks like if you click the “Log out” link you can still comment as Name/URL. I’ll see how I can add that as an option, it definitely shouldn’t just have WP Account as the only option.

I don’t mind that my trademark infinity logo (designed by me :-) ) appears. I was just taken aback!
The other day I made a little video making fun of something that happened in our latest party at home, for the consumption of friends only. I posted in on youtube and enabled the “private” mode–”by invitation only”. A few days later, I discovered it was linked on the google+ profile. I freaked out.
